Icons

The Protraktor Design System utilizes its own design library, that is slightly based on Material Design approach.

Definition of icons style

• Default size of icons is 24 x 24 pixels, but other sizes are also available
• Icons may have 1px or 2px strokes
• All corners and edges are rounded, unless it is critical for icon recognition
• External radius of any right angle is 2px, unless it is critical for icon recognition

Expanding library

If you want to expand the library, consider the following requirements to the new icon:

• Inside icon container there is always one and only one layer with “Shape” name. It helps to preseve the applied style of the icon after change of the variant.
• Shape layer must always have Scale alignment property for both horizontal and vertical directions.
• Name of the icon must be lower case with dashes being used instead of spaces.
